3rd week

Today was The start of my third week at my new job...
also the third week in a row without a day off...
(since June 1st) I've had about 4 days off... now.. Aug.


I got my New Power Source for the G5...
Installed it myself!!!!
it works! Woo Hoo!!!

I had a couple of people tell me that with this computer... the switch should only be performed by a professional...
I've never done something like this... but I figure... hey... I'm a smart dude!!! I can do this....

no instructions... no manuals.. not even a hint or a tip.

With two of the biggest heat sinks I've seen...
I had to remove both processors for the surgery...

put it all back together today...
turned it on for the first time in 3 weeks...

"It's alive!!!"
